My name is Emma, and I’m from North Carolina.

I started pet sitting in 2006-ish (oh my god) for neighbors while in grade school. Since then I’ve cared for countless cats, dogs, horses, fish, plants, and houses across the US. I would describe myself as a wandering hermit, so the pets are never home alone for very long.

In 2022 I packed up my life and set out for a road trip across the country. I managed to set up a couple of pet-sitting gigs to structure my trip around but mostly had the time to myself to do whatever I wanted.
I spent 8 months on the road, seeing all new places and meeting great people.

It’s 2023 now, and I’m back on the road again. I am still doing pet care, going where the wind blows me, and interested in seeing more of what the country has to offer.
